Summer Raffle
I know that people may want to see the destination of our raffle prizes and to check whether they have won - if you have won you will have already had an email, but sometimes these things disappear into spam folders and I'm still waiting to hear from a couple of winners, but the list of winners is at the bottom.
I also wanted to say a big thank you to parents for putting up with all my fundraising emails and requests this year. I know that it can seem that hardly a day goes by without an email from me! But you'll be pleased to hear that this will be the last one for a while. The raffle has enabled us to raise an additional £10k for the refurbishment of The Grange. There will be more fundraising events in the new academic year - we'll try to make them fun so that there are opportunities to win some good prizes along the way.
The great news is that we have now raised £88k for the refurbishment of The Grange which is phenomenal given the challenging financial times we're in (that is in addition to £21k raised this year by our OMs to help with the refurbishment of the sports pavilion). As we start speaking to grant making organisations and other donors we will be able to show them that we have the support of every part of our school community and we think that this is a powerful message.
The refurbishment of The Grange will be the biggest and most complex project that Manwood's will have undertaken since the Sports Hall and new teaching blocks were built in the 1990s. If you haven't seen the short video that we put together earlier in the year, have a look to get a sense of what we're trying to achieve for our sixth form.

Thank you again and I hope you have a great summer.

The next big fundraising event for the refurbishment of The Grange is our Summer Raffle with prizes worth over £4,500. Thanks again to all the parents, staff, governors, alumni and local businesses who have donated prizes.
Given the value of the prizes on offer, tickets will be £20 each*, with a total of 1,000 tickets (our absolute limit so once they're gone - they're gone!) You can make your purchase via the School Gateway or at a school event and you will be emailed with your raffle ticket later that week. Winning tickets will be drawn throughout the last week of term and to be in with a chance of winning the prizes, you need to have bought your tickets by midnight on the day before each draw (i.e. to be in with a chance to win the Garden & Nature tickets, you need to have bought your ticket before midnight on Sunday 14th July).
Here's the list of prizes and the days that they will be drawn. We hope that there's plenty here to tempt you to buy a ticket or two!
Tickets are only available for over 18s. Most prizes will be emailed or given to parents via their children (e.g. vouchers). One or two larger physical items and any alcohol will need to be collected from the School Office.
